Mutton chukka

Mutton chukka hits most of the menu cards of restaurants in Tamil Nadu cooked with so much oil and spices which end up in difficult time on digestion. Certainly home cooked food tastes much better and healthy too.

2. Add all the ingredients give in "to pressure cook mutton" and mix everything well. Place the lid and weight, let it cook for 8-9 whistles until mutton becomes tender.
3. In a wide pan heat 2 tbsp of oil, splutter curry leaves, add dry red chilies and saute for a minute. Add chopped onions and saute well till it translucent.
4. Now add pressure cooked mutton and salt , fry until it becomes dry.
5. At last add cumin and pepper powder, give a good stir.
6. Add a handful of cilantro and toss well. Switch of the flame and serve...
If you add salt to mutton while pressure cooking, it results in harder mutton.
