Egg Pepper Gravy



We all love eggs, but think of a combo of egg with hot spices and freshly tossed onion and tomato, the taste is divine. This recipe is very easy to prepare and it goes well with rice, roti…


Prep time: 10 mins
Cook time: 30 mins
Total time: 40 mins


Ingredients:
Boiled eggs – 2
Oil – 2 tbsp
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Cardamom – 2
Cloves – 2
Onion – 1, chopped
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Tomato – 1, chopped
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Pepper powder – 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water as needed
Cilantro – for garnishing


Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan, temper with cinnamon, cloves and cardamom.
2. Add Onion and saute till translucent, add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smells disappears.
3. Add tomato and saute till it turns mushy. Add all the spices, salt and saute till it raw smell leaves.
4. Add enough water and allow it to boil. Now cut the boiled eggs into half and add it to the gravy.
5. Mix well till the gravy get coated with egg pieces. Switch off and serve hot.
