Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori chicken, my most favourite dish. I love to experiment with different recipes each time. Today I tried this recipe for dinner and it came out very well. Usually tandoori chicken is prepared using tandoor, but I prepared this using oven and the taste is no less than the one prepared using tandoor. Let’s see the recipe

Ingredients:
Chicken thighs – 2 piece
For 1st Marination:
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
For 2nd Marination:
Thick unsour curd – ¼ cup
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tsp
Chaat powder – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste – ½ tsp
Oil – 1 tsp

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Clean the chicken piece well and marinate it with red chili powder, salt and lemon juice for 30 mins.
3. Now marinate the chicken pieces again with the ingredients under “For 2nd Marination” and refrigerate it for atleast 4 hours.
4. Pour 1 tsp oil in cast iron skillet and place the chicken pieces. Cook for about 20 to 25 mins.
5. At last broil for 1 or 2 mins to get crispy layer.
6. Splash some lemon juice over the tandoori chicken and serve hot with fresh onion.
